Cal Newport is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Georgetown University. He has authored three books related to academic success for students. His books include How to Be a High School Superstar, How to Become a Straight-A Student, and How to Win at College.

Newport runs a blog called Study Hacks that decodes patterns of success for students. He graduated from MIT and Dartmouth College.
