Born in Glyntraian, Wales, on October 11, 1881, Sarah Edwards was a Welsh-born American film and stage actress whose career found its niche in Hollywood during the 1930s and 1940s. Largely cast in minor roles, she became a recognizable presence through her recurring portrayals of dowagers and spinsters across numerous productions. She died in Hollywood on January 7, 1965.
