Peter Sloterdijk

Peter Sloterdijk, born in Karlsruhe in 1947, is a German philosopher and cultural theorist whose work spans philosophy and media theory. He served as professor and Rector of the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design from 2001 to 2015, and co-hosted the German television programme Das Philosophische Quartett from 2002 to 2012, bringing philosophical debate to a broad public audience.
