He co-founded DeepMind, the AI company acquired by Google, where he served as head of applied AI. After departing DeepMind, he co-founded Inflection AI, a generative AI company, in 2022.

He currently serves as CEO of Microsoft AI, placing him at the center of one of the most consequential technological competitions of the era.
