Michael Pollan is an American journalist specializing in food who holds the Lewis K. Chan Arts Lecturer position at Harvard University and serves as Knight Professor of Science and Environmental Journalism at UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism. At UC Berkeley, he is director of the Knight Program in Science and Environmental Journalism and co-founded the Center for the Science of Psychedelics in 2020, where he leads the public-education program.
