Michael Bhaskar is a British writer, researcher, and publisher whose work sits at the intersection of media, technology, and ideas. His first book, *The Content Machine* (Anthem Press, 2013), offered an academic account of publishing's past and future, while *Curation* (Piatkus/Little, Brown, 2016) examined how selection and filtering became essential tools for navigating information overload. He co-authored *The Coming Wave* with Mustafa Suleyman, a study of technology and power that was shortlisted for the 2023 Financial Times Business Book of the Year Award.

He is also co-founder of digital publisher Canelo.
