Johan Rockström

About the author

Johan Rockström is a Swedish scientist recognized internationally for his work on global sustainability issues. He serves as joint director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research in Germany alongside economist Ottmar Edenhofer, and holds professorial positions in Earth System Science at the University of Potsdam and in Water Systems and Global Sustainability at Stockholm University. He is also chief scientist at Conservation International.
