Jacques Marseille

Jacques Marseille (1945–2010) was a French historian specializing in economic history, born in Abbeville and based in Paris. Known for his liberal positions, he was a prominent commentator in both print and radio, bringing economic history to broader public debate. Beyond his academic work, he also held roles in publishing.

He died in Paris in March 2010.
