Frederick Buechner

Frederick Buechner (1926-2022) was an American theologian, novelist, and Presbyterian minister whose prolific career spanned literature and religious reflection. Educated at Princeton University and Union Theological Seminary, Buechner authored over thirty works blending memoir, fiction, and theological exploration. His notable publications include *The Sacred Journey*, *Wishful Thinking*, and *The Alphabet of Grace*.
Recognized for his literary approach to spirituality, Buechner received numerous awards including the O. Henry Award and was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.
