Eve Curie
About the author
Ève Curie Labouisse was a French and American writer, journalist, and pianist, and the younger daughter of Marie Skłodowska-Curie and Pierre Curie. She authored her mother's biography, Madame Curie, and a book of war reportage, Journey Among Warriors, while later dedicating herself to UNICEF work from the 1960s onward. Unlike other members of her family, she did not pursue a scientific career, though her husband, Henry Richardson Labouisse Jr.
, received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1965 on behalf of UNICEF.
