Daniel Greenberg

About the author

First a physics professor at Columbia University, Daniel Greenberg, disillusioned by what he saw of education, founded the Sudbury Valley School in 1968 with his wife and other volunteers. This unusual school puts children and teenagers at its center, respecting their autonomy and granting them trust and freedom. Greenberg has published other books on how Sudbury Valley works, as well as books on science and philosophy.
