About the author
Christopher Wylie, born in Victoria in 1989, is a British-Canadian data consultant best known as the whistleblower whose leaked documents from Cambridge Analytica ignited one of the most consequential privacy scandals in tech history. By releasing a cache of files to The Guardian, he exposed practices that triggered multiple government investigations and sharpened global debate about Big Tech's unchecked power and democracy's vulnerability to disinformation. Named one of Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People of 2018, he also appeared in the 2019 documentary The Great Hack.
He currently serves as head of insight and emerging technologies at H&M.
