About the author
Christian Salmon, born in 1951, is a French writer and researcher whose career spans literary advocacy and cultural criticism. After serving as Milan Kundera's assistant, he founded the International Parliament of Writers in 1993 and the International Cities of Refuge Network to shelter persecuted writers. His 2007 book Storytelling exposed the rise of narrative as a tool of political communication, management, and marketing — what he termed a 'new narrative order' — bringing him wide recognition.
In 2017, after thirty years of research, he published the novel Le Projet Blumkine.
