Carol S. Dweck

Carol Susan Dweck is an American psychologist and Lewis and Virginia Eaton Professor of Psychology at Stanford University, known for her work on motivation and mindset. She held faculty positions at the University of Illinois, Harvard, and Columbia before joining Stanford in 2004. Dweck has been a member of the National Academy of Sciences since 2012 and has received numerous honors including the APS James McKeen Cattell Fellowship in 2013, the APS Mentor Award in 2019, and the APS William James Fellowship in 2020.
