Carl Safina
About the author
Carl Safina is an American ecologist and author whose works explore the human relationship with the natural world, including Becoming Wild, Beyond Words, and Song for the Blue Ocean. He is the founding president of the Safina Center and holds the Carl Safina Endowed Chair for Nature and Humanity at Stony Brook University. Safina has also hosted the PBS series Saving the Ocean with Carl Safina.
