Bruno Humbeeck

Bruno Humbeeck (born c. 1953) is a Belgian psychopedagogue and researcher in family and school pedagogy at the University of Mons, and an associate member of the CIVIIC laboratory at the University of Rouen, where he earned his doctorate in educational sciences. A specialist in resilience, he has collaborated with Boris Cyrulnik and was a close associate of Jean-Pierre Pourtois and Huguette Desmet.

His work since 2012 on preventing visible and invisible school violence led him to develop a bullying-prevention model centred on regulated playgrounds and classroom dialogue spaces. In 2024 he served as an expert adviser to Belgian education minister Valérie Glatigny.
