About the author
Bruce Lee was a Hong Kong and American martial artist, actor, and filmmaker who founded Jeet Kune Do, a hybrid martial arts philosophy blending unarmed fighting, self-defense, and Zen Buddhist and Taoist philosophies. Regarded as the first global Chinese film star and one of cinema's most influential martial artists, Lee starred in five feature-length martial arts films and helped popularize the genre in the 1970s while promoting Hong Kong action cinema.
