About the author

Baptiste Morizot, born in 1983 in Draguignan, France, is a philosopher whose work centers on one of the most pressing questions in contemporary thought: how humans relate to other living beings. A lecturer at the University of Aix-Marseille, he has built a body of research that probes the boundaries between humanity and the broader web of life, positioning him as a distinctive voice in French philosophy of nature and human-animal relations.
