Avishai Margalit

Avishai Margalit, born in Afula in 1939, is an Israeli philosopher and professor emeritus at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. A prominent figure in contemporary philosophy, he held the distinguished George F. Kennan Professorship at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton from 2006 to 2011.
