Born in Moscow in 1919, Anne Ancelin Schützenberger lived nearly a century, dying in Paris just days before her 99th birthday in 2018. A French psychologist and psychotherapist, she served in the French Resistance during the Second World War before building a distinguished academic career. She became one of the foremost practitioners of psychodrama, having studied directly under its founder, Jacob L.
Moreno, and went on to be recognized as a prominent representative of that therapeutic method.
