Alice Coffin

About the author

Born in Toulouse in 1978, Alice Coffin is a French journalist, feminist, lesbian activist, and politician whose work sits at the intersection of media and radical gender politics. Elected to the Council of Paris in 2020 and affiliated with Europe Ecology – The Greens, she gained wider attention that same year with her book Le Génie lesbien (The Lesbian Genius), in which she argues that women should banish men and masculine culture from their lives — a provocative stance that sparked significant public debate in France.
