About the author
Adele Faber (1928–2024) was an American author who built her career around one of parenting's most persistent challenges: how adults and children actually talk to each other. Born in New York City and a resident of White Plains at the end of her life, she wrote books focused on family dynamics and communication between parents and children, establishing herself as a recognized expert in that field. She died on April 24, 2024, at the age of 96.
