Sibylle Gollac

Sibylle Gollac, born in 1978 in Amiens, is a French sociologist and research fellow at the CNRS, based at the Centre de recherches sociologiques et politiques de Paris (CRESPPA). Her work examines the intersection of gender and economic inequality, most notably in the 2020 book Le Genre du capital. Comment la famille produit les inégalités, co-authored with Céline Bessière, which investigates how family structures reproduce social and financial disparities along gender lines.
