Safi Bahcall is a physicist and biotech entrepreneur. He graduated from Harvard and Stanford. He worked as a McKinsey consultant.

He co-founded Synta Pharmaceuticals, developing cancer drugs. He served as Synta's CEO for 13 years until 2014. He now works as a consultant and author.

He has won biotech awards. He worked with Obama's science advisors.
