Reed Hastings is the co-founder and CEO of Netflix, a company he has led since 1999, and is known for his philanthropic efforts in education. He has a history of entrepreneurship with the founding of Pure Software and a commitment to educational organizations. Hastings is an alumnus of Bowdoin College and Stanford University, with formative experience from his time in the Peace Corps.
