James Murphy

About the author

James Murphy is the founder and CEO of Afterburner, Inc., a company specializing in management consulting and leadership training. A University of Kentucky alumnus, Murphy has an extensive military background, including serving as the chief of training for the Georgia Air National Guard and as a combat flight leader in the US Air Force.

With over 4,400 flight hours in F-15s and other high-performance aircraft, he also boasts a successful career in imaging equipment sales. Afterburner has worked with over 100 Fortune 500 companies and trained more than 1.5 million professionals.

Murphy is also known for his book "Business is Combat.
