James McQuivey serves as a vice president and principal analyst at Forrester Research, where he initially joined as an online retail analyst. His role expanded to include coverage of the automotive and travel sectors before he transitioned to lead Forrester's research into consumer technology interaction. Currently, McQuivey consults globally, assisting companies in strategizing for today's highly empowered consumer generation.
A Syracuse University alumnus, he also has a history of teaching at Boston University.
