Ed Catmull is a co-founder of Pixar Animation Studios and has served as president of both Pixar Animation and Disney Animation following Disney's acquisition of Pixar in 2006. He has been honored with five Academy Awards and a lifetime achievement award in computer graphics. Catmull is a graduate of the University of Utah and is known for his contributions to the field of computer graphics and animation.

His book, "Creativity, Inc.," discusses the ideals and techniques behind Pixar's success and offers insights into managing creative teams and fostering a culture of creativity.
