Dorion Sagan
About the author
Dorion Sagan, born in 1959, is an American essayist, fiction writer, poet, and theorist of ecology whose work spans culture, art, evolution, and the philosophy of science. Son of astronomer Carl Sagan and biologist Lynn Margulis — the subject of one of his books — he brings a distinctly interdisciplinary sensibility to titles such as Into the Cool, which links non-equilibrium thermodynamics to life, and Cracking the Aging Code. Translated into 15 languages, his writing is widely cited in critical theory, new materialism, and feminist science studies.
