About the author

A professor of sociology at Sciences Po, Dominique Cardon specializes in digital technology and its social effects. He examined the political dimensions of the internet in La démocratie Internet : promesses et limites (2010) and set out to decode how it works in À quoi rêvent les algorithmes, nos vies à l’heure des big data (2015).
