Chip Conley founded and owns Joie de Vivre Hospitality, a management company with 26 hotels, restaurants, campgrounds, bars and spas generating $60 million in revenue per year. He has received Entrepreneur and Marketer of the Year awards and been profiled in major publications like The Wall Street Journal and Time. Conley has a BA and MBA from Stanford.

Before starting his company, he worked in real estate development with Bay West Development and in finance with Morgan Stanley Realty.
