Suzanne Berger

Suzanne Berger is a political science professor at MIT since 1968. She graduated from University of Chicago and Harvard. Berger studies politics, globalization, innovation, and production.
She founded the MIT International Science and Technology Initiatives. Berger chaired the MIT Production in Innovation Economy project. She authored books like Peasants Against Politics and How We Compete.
Berger was named inaugural John M. Deutch Institute Professor at MIT in 2019. She is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
