Jack Kornfield is a prominent American Buddhist teacher and psychologist who has played a pivotal role in adapting Eastern contemplative practices for Western audiences. Trained as a clinical psychologist, he spent several years as a Buddhist monk in Thailand, Burma, and India under renowned meditation masters.
